Kadavar + Slomosa + ORB at Transbordeur

At Transbordeur in Lyon, we are thrilled to host the explosive triple bill Kadavar + Slomosa + ORB, a night engineered for devotees of high-voltage riffs, analog warmth, and heady psych excursions. Our stage is built for this kind of meeting point between power and precision: towering backline, wide sightlines, and a PA system designed to let low-end thunder and crystalline cymbals breathe without compromise. Expect the floor to pulse as Kadavar’s Berlin-bred swagger meets Slomosa’s muscular “tundra rock” and the fuzz-drenched hypnosis of ORB. As a venue, we champion shows that tell a story from the first downbeat to the final feedback howl; this one moves from desert-stoked grooves to kosmische flights, with dynamics that reward attention whether you’re up front in the thick of it or taking it in from the raised tiers. Our production team has prepared a lighting design that chases every crescendo and leaves space for the slow-burn passages, so the energy of the bands meets an atmosphere worthy of their sound.

Kadavar arrive in Lyon as standard-bearers of European heavy rock, a trio whose command of vintage tones never feels museum-bound. They continue to expand their palette onstage, drawing on the raw immediacy that first turned heads while embracing the widescreen psychedelia they’ve honed over the last few years. Their creative momentum has been unmistakable, from the introspective textures that emerged during the creation of The Isolation Tapes to the collaborative spirit they explored alongside Elder under the banner of Eldovar. On our stage, that evolution translates into setlists that pivot effortlessly between neck-snapping gallop and slow-motion haze, all driven by drum work that hits like a hammer and guitar lines that arc with analog glow. Slomosa, the Norwegian phenomenon whose self-described “tundra rock” has roared across Europe since their breakout, bring a granite-solid rhythm section and hooks that stick. The quartet’s live reputation has grown on the strength of relentless touring and a sound that feels both classic and freshly minted—huge, sun-scorched riffs, vocal lines with grit and melody, and a command of dynamics that turns a chug into a landslide. Completing the bill, ORB carry the banner for fuzz-forward, heavy-psych adventuring: hypnotic, monolithic, and slyly progressive. Their sets swing from motorik propulsion to cavernous doom-laden drops, binding it all with the kind of low-end punch that makes the Transbordeur floor vibrate in sympathetic resonance. Together, these three make for a continuum rather than a contrast—different dialects of the same loud and liberating language.

Your night at Transbordeur

We have tuned every detail at Transbordeur to make this show as immersive as the music demands. The main hall’s generous standing space puts you close to the amplifiers’ heat and the drum kits’ kinetics, while elevated vantage points reward those who want the full panorama of the lightshow and the interplay between the bands. Our engineers will run a mixed-analog front-of-house chain to keep the grit intact, and we have configured sub arrays to give the kick drums and bass guitars the body they deserve without swallowing the midrange bite. Merch stands will be set for swift flow so you can pick up vinyl or shirts without losing your place, and our bars are stocked with a selection suited to a long, loud evening. Whether you’re a dedicated follower of Kadavar, newly converted to Slomosa’s glacier-carved grooves, or curious about ORB’s fuzz labyrinths, the room is ready to hold your expectations and raise them. Lyon’s audiences have a reputation for intensity and open ears; we’re proud to give that energy a home. Come early, settle into your spot, and let the amps warm to a glow—the kind of glow that makes time dissolve as a single chord blooms and three bands take the Transbordeur night in their hands.
